Ramblin' Rosko

Ramblings of a Confessional Lutheran turned Orthodox Christian on life, God, and friends.

I am feeling a lot better than I was at this time last week. Last Wednesday I got myself sent home from work for looking ill, which was good, because as you know I ended up in the ER later that night. I've been taking my medicine as necessary and recommended, and feel almost good again, I still have a little bit of a cough, and a slight wheeze but I'm surviving.

As recommended, I followed with my Primary Care Physician within the week, and was given MORE prednisone for my lungs, and also Advair for long term care. One problem, Advair is $220/month!!!!!! But there is a program that I can get in that will get it for me near-to-free. We're working on that, and I'm confident. It also means that my $75/month medicine for another problem is getting taken care of too. Thank you, GlaxoSmithKline!

So, with feeling better that means I might actually get to enjoy my forthcoming birthday as well, I will be a very old 22 (Father thought I was turning 26, HA!). A birdie tells me that a kidnapping is in the works. We shall see, I refuse to have anything to do with planning my birthday, given that I planned my entire birthday several times in my life already, including #18 and #21.

So, enough rambling, even though I am "Ramblin' Rosko". I hope this blog post finds everyone in good health and happy spirits and that you all have a good few days.
